What you should know about GeodataDays 2018

GeodataDays 2018 : the first professional meeting of the Geodata field took place at le Havre on July 3 and 4, 2018. Our team was present for this first edition with thirty other exhibitors presenting their work at the 500 visitors of the event.

The first professional meeting of the Geodata field took place at le Havre on July 3 and 4, 2018: Geodatadays 2018.

After they launched each on their side « Rencontres Dynamiques Régionales en information géographique » and « DécryptaGéo» , Afigéo and DécryptaGé decided to put together their knowledge and competences to co-organize an event about the subject that gather them : « Geodatadays »

Our team was there for this first edition with thirty exhibitors to present nam.R’s work to the 500 visitors of the event.

What nam.R remember from GeoDataDays 2018

is the very interesting themes of the conferences  : « Data security and  data use : new challenges, new obligations » that enlightened us about the réglementation of data protection » or  « Artificial Intelligence, deep learning, machine learning, big data : how the geographic sciences transform themselves ? »

And also the workshops, debates and the festival « Géo-innovations » that presented on July 3 all the most recents innovation in GIS.

GeoDataDays is an itinerant event : after le Havre, the second edition will take place in Arras in the Hauts-de-France on July 2019.

You will be able to meet nam.R’s team there and to attend the conference by Nicolas Berthelot, our Chief Data Officer who’ll tell you about geographic open data for the Earth observation on July 3rd, from 2:45 to 3:45 pm in the conference room « Flandres ».
