Gregory Labrousse is an entrepreneur and innovator that founded many companies at his very young age. Since 2013, he has been passionate about the great movement of open data and data science, which he made available to the ecological transition and the transformation of our business models. In 2017, he decided to create Nam.R with Emmanuel Bacry, professor and head of the « Data Science » initiative at Ecole Polytechnique, and Lila Tretikov, CEO of Terrawatt. Nam.R produces original and actionable data on public-private platforms to help decision makers and actors of the ecological transition (ministries, territories, companies and citizens). On his initiative namR created a Chair with the Ecole Polytechnique on the trendX project "artificial intelligence and energy sobriety", and a junior Chair with the Collège de France and the Louis Bachelier Institute "Industrial economy of the ecological transition applied to territories".
Emmanuel Bacry graduated from ENS (Ulm) and obtained in 1992 a PhD in Mathematics. He is currently Senior Researcher at CNRS at Paris-Dauphine University and Scientific Director of Health Data Hub. He is one of the main organizers of the largest French summer school on the AI (DS3) at École Polytechnique where he directed for more than 4 years the Data Science Initiative. His research has always been guided by a constant concern for applications, particularly in statistical finance, health and more recently in sustainable development. Since 2015, he has led a partnership between École Polytechnique and CNAM to develop « Big Data » methodologies based on SNIIRAM (one of the largest medico-administrative databases in the world). AI expert, Emmanuel Bacry is a member of several scientific boards and committees and is co-founder of our start-up nam.R.
Author of a seminal 2013 report on France's digital economy, which highlighted (among other things) the importance of data and data openness, Pierre has played a part in the creation of many companies that represent the cutting edge of their respective technologies (Molotov.tv, Canal +). Pierre is a director of the Kudelski cybersecurity group and the Lagardère group, as well as president of the Cannes Film Festival.
Acclaimed by Forbes, Times, San Francisco Chronicle as visionary leader in harnessing innovations for global impact, invited by the World Economic Forum to join Young Global Leaders in 2016. Currently, Ms. Tretikov is Corporate Vice President of Customer & Product - AI, Perception & Mixed Reality at Microsoft, focusing on enterprise and commercial solutions to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Previously, Ms. Tretikov was CEO of Terrawatt, international cross-sector incubator to bring together stakeholders necessary to build a large and competitive clean power market by deploying innovative financial and technical models rooted in shared economic value. Former CEO of Wikipedia, Ms. Tretikov worked to democratize knowledge in 300+ languages for billions and transformed the organization and platform for the age of ubiquitous Internet and machine learning. Ms. Tretikov advises leaders and entrepreneurs in identifying and navigating through major market and consumer behavioral shifts propelled by technical innovations. She has authored numerous articles, patents and inventions across areas of policy, management and technology.
Director and Chairman of the audit committee for the Atari group, Eric began his career at Arthur Andersen, where he participated in the development of its restructuring practices. He then joined Lucien Deveaux after its takeover of the Bidermann Group, whose turnaround he led, before launching an Internet start-up that he sold in 2002. After this, he joined LBO Gigastore, a non-food discount brand, where he remained at the helm until it was sold in 2008. Eric manages a consulting firm specialized in radical change and co-leads a training group.
Bettina Laville is an honorary State Councilor, Doctor of Letters, Sciences Po laureate and alum of ENA. She formerly held positions as Cabinet Director for several ministers, and as an advisor on environmental issues to two prime ministers, Pierre Bérégovoy and Lionel Jospin, and to former French president, François Mitterrand. As associate lawyer, she created the Sustainable Development department of Landwell-PwC in 2008, and subsequently returned to the Council of State in 2014 to work in the Finance Section. Bettina Laville is a member of the Scientific Council of Institut Mines-Télécom and the Founding President of Comité 21, the President of the strategic committee of nam.R, and she co-founded the Festival des Nouvelles Explorations in 2016. She also founded the magazine Vraiment Durable and is the author of around ten books and reports on the environment, sustainable development and adaptation to climate change.
Graduate of France's ENA (Senghor) and École Polytechnique, and a French finance inspector, Pierre-Alain was ministerial advisor and then General Manager of the MutRé. A renowned data specialist, he is President of insurance broker Santiane. Pierre-Alain joined the board of nam.R in 2017.
Passionate about economics, strategy and public affairs, Louis joined nam.R when it was formed. Before nam.R, he worked at EDF Trading in London and for France's National Assembly and Ministry of Defence. Louis holds a master's degree from the London School of Economics. He is responsible for creating nam.R’s Knowledge Strategy department, which he manages. He identifies, organises and distributes the practical knowledge required for nam.R project implementation and algorithm optimisation. He also handles nam.R's public and regulatory affairs.
Gaël is a trained data scientist and sociologist who holds a degree in statistics engineering from ENSAE and master's in sociology from Sciences Po Paris. He is a multitalented data scientist, manager and product manager whose efforts — bolstered by the technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence he gained at Oscaro — have driven nam.R's continued evolution since it began its operations. Gaël is in charge of nam.R's technical teams.
With a PhD in electrical engineering, Alexandre is a recognized expert in Artificial Intelligence and the energy sector. He has worked on innovation and data projects at EDF and Enedis. A trained agile project manager, Alexandre joined nam.R's data science group to help build its Digital Twin and organise team management.
Vincent is a graduate of the École Centrale de Lyon in engineering and an energy and climate specialist. He worked at renowned firm Carbone 4 for several years after holding posts at Schlumberger, Vinci and Citeo. A lecturer at ESTP who is passionate about data projects, Vincent joined nam.R as Product Owner for the Digital Twin.
