World Efficiency Paris: solutions for a lean economy regarding resources and carbon

The World Efficiency Paris event shows once again the concern of the stakeholders of tech for ecological changeover and their will to do something in order to fulfill in time the objectives of sustainable development.

From 12th december to 14, 2017, nam.R was present at the World Efficiency Paris, the first international meeting on lean economy regarding resources and carbon at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, under the high patronage of Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic.

World Efficiency Solution have been created with the purpose of accelarating the involvement of politicians in actions in favour of resources and climate.

By means of this platform, public and private decision-makers want to trigger ecological transition and head to circular economic system without carbon. They could meet experts proposing innovative solutions to accelerate the implementation of this transition.

It’s a tool of implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) define by the United Nations in september 2015 to be achieved by 2030 and of the implementation of the commitments of the Paris agreement, sign at the COP21 by 195 countries.

Pratical solutions are thus available within the single network of organisations and companies of more than 90 countries.

Workshop nam.R « Open data and artificial intelligence: an unprecedented opportunity to speed up ecological changeover »

nam.R organised and moderated the workshop “Open data and artificial intelligence: an unprecedented opportunity to speed up ecological changeover” on december 14th.

Gaël Grasset presented and moderated the workshop beside Louis Petros, Emmanuel Bacry, Pierre Lescure and Gregory Labrousse, acclimating the audience to open data and to the infinite source of values it represents for the private sector as well as the public sector.

After the review of the present situation of open data in France, Gaël introduced the countless opportunities that its provides when mixing with artificial intelligence.

In front of the climate emergency, the alliance between artificial intelligence and open data provides innovative solutions for ecological transition as seen in the samples we presented during this workshop and that show a more concrete vision of our activities to the audience not yet initiated in these subjects.
